Description of the issue

Please list all fault codes and give a description of the operational concern.

Airflow and Indoor Unit information

Use at least one of the following methods to verify required cfm for outdoor unit operation. Using 2 methods is better then using just 1, just in case something does not look correct. The goal is 350 cfm per a ton.

If your system is using a User Interface(touchscreen)

Go into the service menu by pressing and holding the service hat icon until it turns green. Then select the installation option, then select the blower assessment test, start the test, it will take about 3 mins to complete, once the test is complete record the information below.

Record the static pressure with a manometer. Measure the return and the supply separately and then add together to get the total static. Forget the + and - and just add the numbers together. Example +.5 measured in the supply and -.3 measured in the return = .8 in wc Total static. Reminder this is a Blower, not a sucker.

The supply static should always be a higher number then your return Ex. +.2 measured in the supply and -.4 measured in the return. Ignore the + & -. And then since the return number is higher then the supply your return has an issue.

The return should not be over .4 in wc or you could have a condensate issue, the unit will not drain correctly at this high return static.

Place the unit in emergency heat and run for about 10-15 minutes while you are gathering your measurements, yes even on a 90 degree day. Take the blower door off and measure the High Voltage going to the Fan Coil(you can also get this in the disconnect), after the door is OFF, measure the amp draw of L1 or L2 coming into the fan coil, total system amp draw, while the door if off get an amp draw of the fan motor. Then place the door back on the unit and measure the temperature split of just the elec. heat at the fan coil.

Take the Total Fan Coil Amp draw measured amp draw and subtract the Indoor fan amp draw. This will give you the amp draw of the Elec heat.

Use the same thermometer to measure the temperatures.

Use the same thermometer to measure the temperatures.
