Welcome to the CE VRF Assisted Start-up Program
THIS is a ASSISTED Start-up Program, the contractor will be doing the start-up, as we guide and assist you thru the process on-site.
This is a purchased assisted start-up only service. CE does not complete system installations or make any repairs.
Below you will find the information and resources needed to ensure a successful startup of a new VRF system with CE VRF Assisted Start-up, from what to expect during the process, planning timelines, and what additional information is needed to assist.
Once the VRF product is ordered. Please ensure CE has a copy of the vPro file.
Complete the “Technical Support Form” HERE to start to pre-plan the VRF system installation/start-up.
The Customer Assurance Team will contact you shortly to plan/schedule a pre-job walk thru, with two weeks’ advanced notice.
This occurs at some point during the installation process to answer and review any specific information regarding that VRF system application. During this visit the VRF Customer Assurance Manager will cover the design, basic layout, and any potential restrictions or concerns.
Once the installation is complete, request your VRF Assisted Start-Up
Download and fill out the appropriate VRF and Control Installation Check List form listed HERE for each system & control to start up.
Submit the edited piping diagram, and the appropriate VRF and Control Installation Checklists for all systems on site. The Installation checklist will also have two requested startup dates with two weeks’ advance notice.
Complete the “Technical Support Form” HERE and attach the completed Installation check lists.
The VRF Customer Assurance Team will evaluate the information ensuring it is complete and we have the needed information for a successful start-up.
The VRF Customer Assurance Manager will then respond with the additional charge documents and confirm the available startup date. CE will do its best to accommodate 1 of the requested dates.
The full VRF system, all components, must be ready to operate when the VRF Customer Assurance Manager is on site, if not, additional commissioning fees may be charged. And this could cause delays for you and your customer.
